Registration at glencart.com is free and can be completed in a few minutes. Registration has it's benefits, such as being able to fully participate in our forums and add articles (reviewed before publishing) as well as communication with other users.

This is a public website, as such we have no control over who visits us and no control over anyone who tries to register. We can and do, remove accounts that are suspicious, have incorrect email addresses, does not contain any real name to identify the user and anyone who attempts to harrass or spam our users.

First and foremost Glencart is a family friendly website. We will not tolerate any inapproriate material being published on this site and will monitor and moderate all articles, chat and forum posts. We are only human and not online 24/7, so we ask that our users are vigilant. If you see anything that you feel is not approriate for this website, please let us know and we will deal with it promptly. Contact us by clicking on this link.

You attention is drawn to the following guidelines:

  • You must register with a valid email address - it is required that you validate your registration by clicking on a link in the verification email our system will send to you. If you don't get the email, please check the trash folder in your email account and remember to add us to your safe senders list. This protects you, it means that no-one else can add you to this site without your knowledge, if you don't wish to register, simply ignore the email. If you do not validate your registration, your account will not be activated and you cannot login. The only exception to this rule, is when a site administrator creates your account on your behalf, no verification is required in this case.
  • When you register, it is advised that you do not disclose your email address publicly. We do everything in our power to protect your email from being released into the public domain. However, we cannot be held responsible if you choose to show your email address in your profile, on articles you submit or give it out to another user.
  • You must put your real name in the NAME field of your profile, there is a separate field for usernames. Your real name can remain hidden from the public, but it is required by the site administrators. We will remove or suspend accounts that do not provide a real name, which is generally the tactics employed by spammers.
