Swiggy's Cafe!
From the small take away cafe on the yard Swiggy prepares hot food and snacks at each of our events. All food is freshly prepared and cooked at time of ordering. So please understand this when you order, you will have a short wait. Nothing is reheated.
Swiggy is very proud of her Chips, real potatoes, no frozen chippers here! The feedback from customers cetainly would justify her pride. They are the best chips ever.
As well as the usual offerings of burgers, chips, hot dogs etc. Swiggy makes the most delicious home made soup for the coldest days, always welcome when it's freezing and her own home made coleslaw is a personal favourite.
Not content with having all of this work and preparation, Swiggy also offers the most incredible Home Baking - which has become something of a phenomenon here.
Each week, you will encounter an array of mouthwatering bakes, which have been uniquely named in Swiggy's own inimitable style. Regularly, you will find 'Kurrit Cake', 'Jube Jube Cake', 'Powny Cake' as well as the traditional Victoria Sponges, Fresh Fruit and Cream Pavlova, Scones and Fruit Cakes.
You will never be stuck from something to nibble on here.
Swiggy will also do 'requests', if you have a favourite cake, let her know and you will probably have it next time you visit. As well as buying cake by the slice, you can buy a whole cake. So you really can Have your Cake and Eat it at Glencart!
