Another fantastic Wednesday Night's jumping! So many good rounds and the usual high standard of competition. Lots of people to mention, for one reason or another.

Well done to Marion McKechan, she jumped her first class in a while on her youngster Belle and had a great round. Rachel won the 65 and 75 classes on Zach, those two were made for each other. Simone and Beamer, Simone rode really well and has come on in leaps and bounds. Erin is doing so well with Chance that Mum and Dad have changed the family holiday arrangement to make sure she can compete at the weekend - they must think she is in with a chance of winning something Wink. I think Second Chance should be renamed - what about Every Chance? And also to Nicola, who jumped Lulu for the first time tonight, having only sat on her once for a short time last night, she did a great job.

It was nice to see Megan and Dakota again and we had a great class and jump off's between those two and another Megan on Maddy. It was a great night once again and everyone was outstanding in one way or another.

Toby the fat puupy was out and about tonight, making lots of new friends  - especially the ones who had picnics or food!

Photos are in the Picture Glaries now and will be on Image Ready by this aftenoon. Thanks to everyone for making it a great night.

Sunday was a brilliant Summer Series show, the pony showing was very busy indeed and we would like to thank both of our judges on Sunday for doing such a super job, thank you Doreen (judging horses) and Jackie (judging ponies).

The standard in all classes gets higher every year and this year saw some outstanding entries. The effort in turnout and preparation is obvious for all to see. I'm glad I don't have to pick the best of them, every one was excellent.

That's the 3rd Summer Series show over now and I'll be updating the points towards the end of the week. please don't email me asking when it will be done, I'll do my best to ensure they are published by the weekend, but to make sure they are accurate - I wont be rushing.

The photos taken will be online in a few minutes.

Once again,Please return all outstanding perpetual trophies. Imagine how disappointed you would be if you didn't get the trophy you were expecting because someone didn't bring it back. You can return them any day of the week.

We will be jumping again tomorrow evening from 6:30pm. We look forward to seeing you all again then and enjoying a relaxed and fun evening of jumping and entertainment.

Tomorrow will bring us to the half way point in our Summer Series. This is where it gets really interesting, especially for those who are in front with points and chasing trophies. I will post an update on the points towards the end of next week, so everyone can see how they stand.

We look forward to another exciting and enjoyable event on Sunday 21st.

Wednesday 10th of June was a cracking jumping night. Unusually, the horses competing outnumbered the ponies and we had some highly contested classes. The course was altered somewhat to present more challenges, with the wall, triple bar, gates, planks and water tray incorporated into the bigger classes.

The wall was in the arena from the start and although not essentail to jump until the 85cm class (the minimum height the wall can be), anyone who wished to do so could jump after the last fence in thier class. Many did, including Naomi and Pebbles, Jennifer and Obi, Rachel and Zach and Erin and Chance - to name a few. Of these, Naomi was the only one who had experienced the wall before, so well done to all of you for pushing yourselves a bit and successfully so.

The photos from the 10th are now online and I only was able to take presentation photos. My fault, I forgot to put the memory card back into my camera afer uploading Sunday's Summer Series photos and had to use Rachel's - which I am useless with, so sorry to disappoint.

Our Wednesday Night jumping is becoming more exciting than the Hickstead Derby! Well done to everyone for taking part.
